The Paris tours

The first tour to Paris took place in 1981, it involved leaving Edinburgh on the Wednesday overnight train to London, train to Dover, cross channel ferry then train into Paris where we arrived at about 8 o'clock at night! This original cost was £74.90 per person which the 10 original tourists paid up in £5 weekly instalments.

Since then we have travelled by a variety of methods and destinations to Paris, the worst being, without doubt, the hovercraft!
